SAM BOONE
Sam Boone, co-founder of our residential and commercial contracting business, brings a wealth of expertise with a BS in Engineering Technology with a focus in Construction Management from Old Dominion University and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University. After gaining hands-on experience in the construction trades as a residential carpenter, Sam spent 11 years at one of southeastern Virginia’s largest commercial contractors, leading large-scale projects totaling $440 million and nearly 2 million square feet in multi-family, hospitality, and mixed-use sectors across Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Passionate about the outdoors, he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, surfing, and golf, while also coaching youth sports and spending time with his wife, Megan, and their three children. A dedicated community member, Sam served as president of the local Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals chapter and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church Norfolk.
JAKE LEATHERBURY
Jake Leatherbury, co-founder and the driving force behind our contracting firm, holds a BA in economics & commerce from Hampden-Sydney College as well as a Certificate in Construction Management from Old Dominion University. He brings a robust 18 years of extensive experience in commercial construction, expertly managing a diverse range of projects including office buildings, retail spaces, multi-family housing, and mixed-use developments stretching across the region from Georgia to Maryland. Beginning his career as a residential home builder while still in college, Jake’s strategic insight and hands-on approach ensure flawless project execution from start to finish. An avid outdoors enthusiast, he enjoys spending his free time hunting, camping, mountain biking, and cherishing meaningful moments with his wife, Natalie, and their two children. Jake’s unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction consistently shapes every project, delivering exceptional results that truly exceed expectations.
